Yorkshire Carnegie signed the centre from Sale Sharks on a two-year contract ahead of the 2015-16 Greene King IPA Championship season.

He made his debut against Jersey and went onto register eleven tries in 24 appearances.  He was named Player of the Season in 2016-17 and agreed a new deal with the club that season.

The Huddersfield-born player originally started in the Carnegie Academy before a move to Leicester Tigers.  At Welford Road he was part of the Leicester side that won the LV= Cup in 2012, starting the semi-final and appearing off the bench in the final win over Northampton Saints.

He also gained his first Heineken Cup experience that season, playing against Aironi in Italy and Ulster at home in the pool stages.

As a teenager, he shared in the Leicester’s historic win over world champions South Africa at Welford Road in October 2009, starting in the midfield against illustrious rivals.

Educated at QEGS in Wakefield, Forsyth has been capped at Under-16 and 18 levels by England. He also played in the Championship with Nottingham over two seasons whilst at Leicester.

He spent the two seasons at Sale Sharks, making 24 appearances in all competitions.
His first rugby memory was training at Sandal and his rugby hero was Brian O’Driscoll and he says his mum and dad have had the biggest influence on his career.
