Biography

James Robins joined Yorkshire Carnegie ahead of the 2018-19 season from Chester.  He can play at centre and can fly half and made his debut in the opening game of the season at Nottingham at centre in the RFU Championship Cup.

He attended Merchant Taylor's Boys School and then studied for a BSc in Medical Physiology at the University of Manchester where he got a first class honours degree.

He has played rugby for Firwood Waterloo and Chester and also represented Lancashire Senior XV in 2019.

He supports Leeds United and he says his greatest rugby influence has been his Grandfather.  If he could be any historical figure for the day it would be Neil Armstrong and if he could be the lead singer of a band it would be the Spice Girls!
