Plymouth-born Joe Buckle joined Yorkshire Carnegie from Jersey in 2017, alongside George Watkins,
He originally signed for the Channel Islands side in January 2013, originally on loan, from Bath Rugby.
A former England Under 18 player he spent two seasons at Bath and also played for Cornish Pirates in his early career. He made his debut for the Pirates in September, 2012 as a second half replacement in a narrow 19-17 win against Plymouth Albion.
His first start came later in the same month away to Doncaster Knights in a game drawn 18 all when he scored one of the two tries in the match.
Joe's favourite film is the 90s classic Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves and an interesting face about him is that he was born on the same day as his sister but two years apart. His greatest achievement is winning a Commonwealth youth gold medal and the most memorable moment in his career has been playing for his country.
