Mark joined Yorkshire Carnegie in 2013 and brings with him a wealth of experience having previously worked as a kit man for Super League side Huddersfield Giants as well as for England RL under Paul Cullen in 2006 for the Federation Shield .
A lifelong fan of Huddersfield, his association with the club began when he was aged 12 when he was a ballboy at Fartown when his uncle David was in the Huddersfield side.
Mark is a double amputee below the knee and had a kidney transplant from his sister in June 2006. Throughout these personal battles he has shown a determination to not let anything hold him back and his dedication and enthusiasm has enabled him to continue having an active role in sport.
He has a level two Rugby League coaching qualification and coached junior rugby league at Moldgreen in Huddersfield. He has also played wheelchair rugby league for Halifax in 2012. In his spare time he likes to keep fit and swim and he also enjoys cooking and walking.
